David William DouglasWATTSFRICS, MRTPI, FBIM, FCMI Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 11th September 2019, aged 72 years. Devoted husband of Christine, loving father of David and Lisa, Richard and Sarah, cherished grandfather to his granddaughters Billie and Jaymie. A celebration of his life will be held at Paignton Parish Church on Tuesday 24th September at 2.30pm, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired for the Paignton Heritage Society by retiring collection or may be sent to: K.J. I have just heard and I am so saddened to hear that he is no longer with us, I worked with him in Southend and he was a dynamic, clever man who in his leadership inspired commitment, inspiration and learning. Always ready to listen had true belief and faith in those he worked with. On a personal level he saw my potential and pushed me and I will be forever in his debt. This world is a little darker now he is not longer in it.
